Originally from Philadelphia, PA, Brendon Walsh established himself in comedy in Austin, TX. In 2004 he won the Funniest Person in Austin contest and appeared on ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" as his original character, "Scary Monster" (a terrible monster stand-up comedian). He was voted "Best Stand-Up Comedian" in the Austin Chronicle Readers Poll two years in a row, and he appeared on Comedy Central's "Premium Blend" and season four of NBC's "Last Comic Standing."
In 2008, Brendon was featured in the New Faces showcase at the Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal, where he returned in 2010 to tape a special for HBO called "Funny As Hell." Brendon has appeared on "Conan" on TBS and two episodes of "John Oliver's New York Stand-Up Show" on Comedy Central. In 2012 his "The Half Hour" stand-up special premiered on Comedy Central. Brendon has also been featured regularly on "The World's Dumbest" on Tru TV.
