About Harris Wittels

Harris Wittels was a writer and co-executive producer for NBC's "Parks and Recreation." His other television writing credits include "Secret Girlfriend" and "Eastbound & Down." In addition to being a frequent performer at Los Angeles's UCB theatre, he appeared on countless podcasts, including Scott Aukerman's "Comedy Bang! Bang!" with his memorable segment "Harris's Foam Corner." After graduating from Emerson College in 2006, Wittels moved to Los Angeles to pursue comedy full-time. He became a staff writer for The Sarah Silverman Program at the age of 22 after Silverman saw him perform at the Largo Comedy Club. He made his national television stand-up debut on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" and his book, "Humblebrag: The Art of False Modesty," was published in 2012.
