About Warren Hutcherson

Warren Hutcherson grew up in Baltimore where he began performing stand up in the clubs during his college days. Warren later moved to New York City and quickly established himself as one of the most talented comics working when he won first place in the national Merit Comedy Competition. It did not take long for Warren to catch the attention of Lorne Michaels who gave him his first writing job on Saturday Night Live.

Warren moved to Los Angeles in 1993 to work on Townsend Television and has remained in Los Angeles ever since. Warren has been a writer producer on many shows including The Parenthood, Living Single and Moesha to name but a few. He created a show for NBC entitled Built to Last. Warren has always continued to perform his comedy and has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Def Comedy Jam and Saturday night special.
