ON CLIMATE CHANGE
President-elect Donald Trump has taken a number of different positions on climate change, including selecting a climate change denier to be the head of the EPA. Just in case you were confused about where Obama stands on the issue, here’s his “science is science” mic drop moment.
Perhaps no agenda item during Obama’s tenure has elicited as much partisan pushback as the Affordable Care Act (A.K.A. Obamacare), the president’s attempt to expand affordable health care to more Americans. Health insurance is a complicated issue, and a viable Republican alternative would ideally make the health care system cheaper and more efficient. Does Obama think they can pull it off? In a word, nah.
ON ADDRESSING RACISM
Race is a touchy topic to say the least, so naturally, the president won’t call someone a racist. He will, however, offer some pretty pointed quips about that person’s historical ignorance.
