Sales Tips from the Masters

Anyone can sell a good product, but it takes real skill to move a s**tty one.

Adam, Blake and Ders are many things. They’re friends. They’re dudes who drink and smoke weed a lot. But perhaps most importantly, they’re salesmen (who push their wares over the phone). And anyone who wants to make it in the sales business had better follow the guys’ example.

Make Sure Your Product Is Actually Useful
This is a closely guarded secret among salespeople, but having a good, worthwhile product will make customers more likely to buy it. (And ideally it won’t sound like some sort of dying animal when in use.)

Have a Story to Tell
It’s easy to simply rattle off your product’s features, but what separates the great salespeople from the merely OK is their ability to spin a yarn. Take the customer on a narrative journey to illustrate how essential your product is. And remember: There’s no such thing as being too creepy or intense. Really go for it.
