The Judges’ Meanest Moments

With a new victor crowned, the sun has set on another season of Roast Battle. While we’ve justifiably brought a lot of attention to the roasters’ burns, it’s high time we acknowledge that some of the deadliest punches of the season were thrown by our cadre of celebrity judges.

The New York Regionals got off to a fiery start when Roast Battle vet Mike Lawrence skewered Sean Donnelly and Patrick Schroeder:

For those who questioned John Mayer’s chops as a roast judge, the musician eviscerated himself just to show us how committed he is to the art of the burn:

And of course, Roastmaster General Jeff Ross didn’t pull any punches. During Night Two, he set his sights on Alex Hooper:

Meanwhile, at the quarterfinals, Sarah Silverman piled on and launched this full-scale assault on Hooper’s shiny red hoodie:

And it was during Round One that Whitney Cummings came at Matthew Broussard with the most backhanded of backhanded compliments:

The judges’ daggers turned on each other in the finale, however, as Jeff Ross slammed Natasha Leggero — or, at least, the state of the country:

After all those hits, it’s understandable that you might want to take a breather. Fortunately, another of our judges, Snoop Dogg, has you covered:
