Clusterfest 101: What to Expect from Comedy Central’s First Festival

Don't worry. We've got you covered.

Do you love comedy? Are you fond of this whole “music” thing? Are you free at any point during the weekend of June 2-4 and consider yourself a fan of San Francisco? Then boy howdy, have we got news for you.

Clusterfest is coming.

Unless you’ve done your homework or are some sort of clairvoyant (whoa, cool!), you probably have some questions. Well, we have answers.

WHAT IS CLUSTERFEST?

Clusterfest is a three-day comedy and music festival that takes place in San Francisco from June 2 to 4. It’s an event where you and your friends get to see some of the best comedians and bands around. Whether you’re the kind of person who loves to keep tabs on the alt scene or someone whose “Serenity now!” is watching old “Seinfeld” episodes, this festival will have something for you.

WHO CAN I SEE AT CLUSTERFEST?

In a phrase: so many f**king people. Headlining the festival are icons like Jerry Seinfeld, Kevin Hart, Sarah Silverman, Broad City’s Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer, and Bill Burr. But it’s not just comedy. You can also see sets from great music acts like Ice Cube, Tegan and Sara, and Chromeo.

WHAT ABOUT WACKY ATTRACTIONS?

You’re damn right we’ve got wacky attractions. Ever wanted to kick back and relax at Paddy’s Pub? Now you can (and without having to worry about the gang’s history of health code violations). Always wondered what the deal was with Jerry’s apartment? Walk through it and find out for yourself. And finally, you can come on down to South Park and have yourself a time.

IS IT REALLY A FESTIVAL IF I CAN’T EAT A DISGUSTING AMOUNT OF FOOD?

No, of course not. That’s why we recruited some of the Bay Area’s finest chefs to come and make the best food money can buy. Eat an inappropriate amount of it, like a borderline-criminal amount. We won’t judge — it’s what the cool kids will be doing.

WELL, THIS SOUNDS SWELL! HOW DO I GO?
