The Clusterfest Experience, According to Comedy Fans

We talked to festivalgoers about their best Instagram posts from this past weekend.

Sometimes it’s hard to know exactly why people come to a giant festival like Clusterfest, mostly because when you ask them, they say things like, “WHAT? IT’S TOO LOUD! I CAN’T HEAR YOU!” and “Please leave me alone. I’m not going to ask you again.”

Fortunately, for those of you who weren’t able to attend Clusterfest (which is a decision that you will obviously regret for the rest of your life), we were able to get a few interviews with fans on the ground so that you may live vicariously through these die-hard fans and their Instagram posts.

@pretentiousname: It’s a picture of me and my friend and T.J. Miller and Gorburger. It was pretty rad to be honest with you. I loved the show, and my favorite thing about it was that I was in it!

@realmrcollipark: Seinfeld, because I’m a Seinfeld fan. I went into the set, and it was super cool. It didn’t feel weird at all — it felt dope!

@emilysofresh: I took a pic of Chromeo because I’ve been wanting to see him since I was 15, which was 11 years ago, and I finally got to see him. I’m super excited! Super pumped!

@lindseyryan3: We took a lot of pictures — one of that really pretty Jose Cuervo cocktail with the flower in it that I assume you can eat, and then another really good one with that robot Awesom-O from South Park.

@greer2890: It’s a picture of me eating paella because it’s really good. Someone even stopped me on the street to ask me if it was good! It’s from over there, um, Gerard’s. The food here is really good.

@ashroseconway: I posted about Banshee Wines, which was part of the Corkscrew area. I absolutely adore their winery, and I am excited that they were part of this event. I am really excited because I’m working on a book about spirits, so it’s right up my alley. The book will be called “Art of the Bar Cart” through Chronicle Books, by the way.

@ameliazing: It’s a great selfie with the three of us. Me, myself and my new friend. He’s actually a random stranger who just walked up to us and said, “Hey, do you have Instagram?”
