5 of the Craziest Moments from Broad City Season 4

This year, Abbi and Ilana went all out.

And just like that, another season of Abbi and Ilana adventures has come and gone. Don’t get too bent out of shape if you missed it, though. Every episode is available right now on the Comedy Central app.

To get you in the spirit, we’ve put together five of the wildest things to happen during the girls’ latest run of mischief. (If the guest stars alone don’t get you in the door, honestly, there’s nothing we can do for you.)

  1. THE TRANSFORMATION OF BEVERS

Don’t get us wrong: Beautiful bodies come in all shapes and sizes. Suffice it to say, though, 2011 Matty Bevers and 2017 Matty Bevers seem to be a world apart. Then again, 2011 Abbi Abrams was pretty overzealous with those belts — so no judgment.

  2. THE WEXLER FAMILY SMOKING SESH

It was one thing to book Fran Drescher as a guest star. But to book Fran Drescher and Susie Essman and have them toke up during the Florida episode really put this moment over the top. The Wexlers are officially the most chill family in America.

  3. ABBI AND ILANA’S NEAR-DEATH EXPERIENCE

The season finale had its share of milestones, including the roughest moment in the girls’ relationship to date as well as the first time something as real as murder was brought up on the show. The ultimate crescendo, though, has to be when the girls think that they’re going to die at the hands of a possible maniac (played by Denis O’Hare).

  4. ILANA’S RICH LIFESTYLE

Ilana has always referred to herself as a kween in the spiritual sense. But when she housesits for Oliver’s family, we see for the first time how she’d live as an actual queen — and she doesn’t disappoint. Just look at how much use she gets out of the bidet in that fancy-as-f**k bathroom.

  5. ABBI’S MOM GETS REAL

Abbi doesn’t plan to discuss anal sex with her mother (played by the incomparable Peri Gilpin) when she takes her out on the town. Her mom begs to differ, though, and between that scene and Ilana’s escalating seasonal depression, things get out of hand real fast.
