Kurt Braunohler hails from the backwater diners of Neptune, N.J. He moved to Baltimore and then Brooklyn, and now he resides in the city of broken dreams: L.A.
Kurt was named a "Comic to Watch" by Variety, Time Out New York, Time Out Los Angeles, Comedy Central and the New York Comedy Festival. His debut comedy album, "How Do I Land?", which was released on Kill Rock Stars, was named a top comedy album of 2013 by The Onion's A.V. Club, Paste Magazine, Village Voice, Time Out New York and more. (We don't want to bore you.)
Kurt has been on "BUNK" (IFC), "John Oliver's New York Stand-Up Show "(Comedy Central), @midnight"(Comedy Central), "Chelsea Lately" (E!), "Bob's Burgers" (FOX), "Delocated" (Adult Swim), "Comedy Central Presents," "Jon Benjamin Has a Van" (Comedy Central), "The Heart She Holler" (Adult Swim), "Assy McGee" (Adult Swim) and "Human Giant" (MTV). He can also be heard on "This American Life," telling a story that he is currently developing for film.
As far as stages, Kurt has performed at the HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival, Just For Laughs comedy festivals in Montreal and Chicago, New York Comedy Festival, SXSW, Bonnaroo, All Tomorrow's Parties, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (IF.Comedy Award nominee), Melbourne Comedy Festival (Barry Award Winner), the HBO Vegas Comedy Festival and the Chicago Improv Festival (Improv Ensemble of the Year Award Winner). He has also performed at Radio City Music Hall.
